Well Drilling
Our goal is simple to provide our customer with a long lasting, efficient water well you can depend on. Whether we are drilling a residential, commercial or irrigation water well, you will have the peace of mind your water needs will be met.
Leuthner Well will meet you at your home or business to do a free on-site consultation to review a safe and legal placement of your well to ensure all Minnesota Department of Health required setbacks are met. We will evaluate drilling conditions and geology that we may encounter and discuss the ways we can complete your well with minimal disturbance to your property.

Horizontal Directional Drilling

Do you want to install a water line, sewer line, gas line, or any other utility without the mess of digging a trench? HDD is a steerable, trenchless means for installing underground utilities. This gives you an option to install a utility without the consequence of tearing up your property by digging an open trench or if digging is not an option. With our precision locating system, the possibilities are endless. Leuthner Well has the capability and equipment to install that utility with very little disturbance to your property, such as landscaping, lawn, driveway, trees, and/or infrastructures.
Well Inspection/Testing
We recommend a well inspection every five years. Both to keep your well needs running efficiently and to optimize the 5-year warranty that our well pump and pressure tanks come with. We also offer water testing for coliform bacteria, nitrates, and arsenic.
Well Abandonment
According to the Minnesota Department of Health, statute 4725, states that a non-in-use well must be operable, sealed or granted a variance before the property is sold. Additionally, statute 1031.301 states the property owner is responsible for sealing any unused wells.
At Leuthner Well we take the necessary steps to seal your well properly. Including sending a well sealing notification to MDH, permanently sealing the existing well, and providing you with a sealing well record upon completion.
